Exclusive Threads started the way most good shops do — with one too many beautiful things and nowhere sensible to put them. What began as a rail in a borrowed corner is now a carefully kept floor of designer resale, run by people who would rather find a coat its next ten years than watch it sit in a wardrobe.
We buy nothing blind and we sell nothing we have not held. Every piece is inspected, cleaned and photographed here. If a seam is going or a clasp is tired, we say so in the listing — the description is the whole description.
That is the entire trick, and it is why people send their friends.
How we work
Authenticated, not assumed
Hardware, stitching, date codes, weight. If we are not certain, it does not go out — and we tell the consignor why.
Priced against the market
We price to what comparable pieces are actually achieving right now, not to a wishful number that leaves an item on the rail for a year.
Honest about condition
Wear is photographed, not hidden. Nobody has ever regretted knowing about a scuff before they bought.
Everything is better in person
Photographs are honest, but leather has a smell and cashmere has a weight. Our door is open six days a week — no appointment, no pressure.
